The Light Within: A Solstice Gathering

Honouring the longest night and welcoming the returning light

As the wheel of the year turns and we approach the winter solstice, we find ourselves at a threshold between darkness and light. The longest night of the year invites us to slow down, turn inward, and embrace the stillness of winter, while also reminding us that even in the deepest darkness, the light will return.

I’m so excited to be joining Amanda Elia and Amy Lin to offer a collaborative gathering inspired by this beautiful turning point in the seasons. Together, we’ll create space to rest, reconnect, and nourish ourselves through an afternoon of movement, sound, journeying, and creativity.

We’ll begin by inviting the body to soften through gentle movement designed to release tension in the myofascial system, followed by a restorative sound bath to help us settle into deep rest. From there, I’ll guide you on a Soul Journey into the hidden realms, offering an opportunity to connect with the unseen, listen for guidance, and explore the wisdom that may arise in the stillness.

We’ll also share nourishing snacks and spend time creating our own intention candles. Drawing on the symbolism of the returning light, we’ll reflect on what we wish to nurture within ourselves and plant seeds for the dreams, hopes, and intentions we’d like to bring into the light as we move toward spring.

Whether you’re feeling called to rest, seeking a little connection, or simply curious to experience something new, this is an invitation to step away from the busyness of everyday life and spend an afternoon tending to yourself in good company.

Reiki Master/Teacher Training

An in Depth 6-Month Journey Devoted to the Advancement of Your Reiki Knowledge and Practice.

The master level is the third and final level of study in the Usui system of Reiki. During this in-depth, one on one course, we will work together to build upon your knowledge of Reiki and prepare you to teach each level of the Usui system of healing. You will learn advanced healing techniques such as psychic surgery, crystal grids and meditations, and how to teach your own Level 1, 2 and Master classes, conduct attunements and build and maintain a thriving practice. You will receive the final Master level attunement which will strengthen and intensify your sessions and help you continue to expand spiritually.

This course has been designed as a three-part program combining in-class tutorials (1 per month, 2 hrs in length), Reiki healings (1 per class, 1 hr in length), and a 25 hr practicum providing students with necessary hands-on experience. This mentorship is open to all who have taken the Level 1 and 2 classes and can move at the pace of the student. Enrollment can begin at any time. Topics of in-class instruction include (but are not limited to):

  • Class 1: Review of Usui Reiki level 1 & 2.

  • Class 2: Learning the Master Symbol, clearing, grounding and protection practices.

  • Class 3: A focus on psychic surgery, extraction techniques and psychic development.

  • Class 4: A focus on conducting attunements, working with crystals and crystal grids.

  • Class 5: Learning reiki for animals and how to teach level 1 & 2.

  • Class 6: Learning to teach the master program and graduation. 

Those who become initiated as Reiki Masters often find that their sessions' power and strength dramatically increase and that a greater state of wholeness within themselves is achieved. This course is perfect for all those Reiki lovers who have their level 1 and 2 and are looking to take their practice to the next ‘level’.

The investment: $2000.00 (Plus GST)

* This includes six one-on-one tutorials, healing sessions, and all required reading materials/supplies. A $200.00 deposit is mandatory. Students will be required to complete monthly reading assignments and any other homework issued during class as well as a 25 hr practicum. A monthly payment plan is available.
